Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP2 Dynamic Installer für Server-Manager (KB972493)

Auf meinen 2008 Servern melden alle das Update "Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP2 Dynamic Installer für Server-Manager" als erforderlich an http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972493

Correct, this is the BY DESIGN behavior.

The updates are reported as "Needed" because the package flag isInstallable=TRUE.

The updates are not detected/downloaded/installed by the WUAgent, because installation *requires* selection of WSUS as a ROLE via Server Manager in order to initiate installation.

Dynamic Installer packages do NOT behave like conventional update packages do.

Okay, das ist also "BY DESIGN" - tja dann...
