Swiss E-ID is in Public Beta
Hi All,
Since a few days, the Public Beta of the E-ID of the Swiss Governement is accessible and can be used to issue, test and revoke Beta-ID Credentials.
First you need the swiyu Wallet App on your Smartphone:
Everything has been set up. Now we can request the Beta ID Beta Credential Service
The Beta-ID has been set up. Now we can test it: Check a Beta-ID Beta Credential Service
Select the Check and scan the QR Code
Scan it with the Swiyu App
Sucessfully tested
Summary
As far as i can tell, the Public Beta works well. It will be interesting, how they will implement the Verification Process, when moving to a productive System. It could be something like scanning your ID/Passport and make a Photo of your Face. We will see anyway i guess.

The old GitHub Repo Swiss E-ID Ecosystem has been replaced with a new one swiyu - the Swiss Trust Infrastructure ecosystem
