Enable Claude on Copilot Researcher Agent
Hi All,
Last Week was the Ignite Conference - the biggest Conference from Microsoft. And a lot of new Announcements where made.
I’ve seen Pictures of the M365 Copilot Researcher Agent with Claude LMM - but that’s a Function the Global Admin has to enable first.
Note: Your admin must allow access to Anthropic AI models in the Microsoft 365 admin center before you can use Claude in Researcher. Anthropic AI models are hosted outside of Microsoft and subject to Anthropic Terms and Data handling.
In my Tenant the “Try Claude” Button was missing. The Global Admin needs to enable this.
Log in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center with Global Admin > Copilot > Settings > Data access > AI providers for other large language models
After you selected “I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions” you can klick on “Allow provider”
When it’s activated you can “Disable provider” anytime you might need to
Now in the Copilot Researcher Agent there is the Button “Try Claude”
When clicked it changes to “Claude on” and you see an Info “You are using Copilot with Claude”
