License Azure Arc Managed Servers with Pay-as-you-go
Hi All,
I’ve blogged about Azure Arc enabled Server with Azure Connected Machine Agent with my Windows Server 2025 Preview earlyer this year.
There are constantly some improvements like Windows Server 2025 Hotpatching Preview.
Today i want to write about Licensing the Windows 2025 Azure Arc managed Server.
Process
Let’s look at the Server. As you can see the Windows Server 2025 is not Licensed yet.
On the Desktop it shows you that the Server is not activated.
On my Azure Arc Managed Server you can see the “Pay-as-you-go” Licensing Option.
In the Options i activate the “Pay-as-you-go” Licensing Option
The Licensing is in progress
On the Server the Activation Warning has been removed
And the System > Activation shows you that it’s active
Meanwhile the Portal shows that the Activation was sucessful
