I saw some News about a new Windows Server Insider Preview. It seems that this is a very early Preview of Windows Server 2025.
I’ve seen Screenshot of new Active Directory Forest and Domain functional Levels. Time to test it myself.

If you click on PowerToys in Systemtray - you also see that there is an Update available

Since a few days (7/28/2023) the Microsoft Loop App is also available from the Microsoft Store
System Requirementts:
Windows 10 version 19041.0 or higher Search for “Microsoft Loop” in the Microsoft Store and klick on “Get” After the Installation click on “Open”
On the first start it will ask you to pin to Start and Taskbar
Now you can click on “Sign In”

This Weekend i was involved in a Migration where configuration of Device Registration in AzureAD/EntraID was required. Due to the complex Setup, we could not use Configure Device Registration with Azure AD Connect.
Alldough there exist a Documentation on how to Configure hybrid Azure Active Directory join manually it is missing a few important steps. That’s why i decidet to write this Blog Article.

Seems to be i’ve missed an important update for VMware Remote Console, that was already released two months ago.
VMware Remote Console 12.0.4 (You need to login to Download) Currently i’ve installed 12.0.2
After extracting the *.zip File i’ve started the Installation.
That ended up in a Bluescreen and restarting the Client. I had to uninstall and reinstall VMware Remote console to upgrade to the newest version.
After the Upgrade i’ve started the VMware Remote Console…

Microsoft has released the Version 1.2.4419 for Remote Desktop
When you start the Remote Desktop Client, it checks for Updates and will inform you in the Notification Bar
You can see also a green arrow, that indicates an Update

You can use Remote Desktop client for Windows to connect with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) od Windows 365.
What’s new in the Remote Desktop client for Windows
Installation of the Client
Default is only for user - i’ve changed it to all users for this computer
Click on “Subscribe”
Logon with your credentials
Now you see the AVD or Windows 365 Machines assigned to you
If you click on the Machine you have to login again
