Outlook PST File Size limitations

The default .pst file size limit in Outlook 97, Outlook 98, Outlook 2000, Outlook 2002 is 2GB
The default .pst file size limit in Outlook 2007 and in Outlook 2003 is 20 GB
The default .pst file size limit in Outlook 2010 is 50 GB
The default .pst file size limit in Outlook 2007 and in Outlook 2003 is 20 GB
The default .pst file size limit in Outlook 2010 is 50 GB
Jedoch ist dann meist die Perfomance der lokalen Harddisk nicht mehr Ausreichend

They are more likely to occur when the size of the .pst file or the size of the .ost file approaches 2 gigabytes (GB).
Additionally, they are more pronounced in a very large .pst file or in a very large .ost file that is 4 GB or larger.
Bis zu einem 5 GB OST File kann heute auf den meisten Clients eine gute performance erreicht werden
