Today i had a Supportcase, where the User was not able to add a Distribution List to a Calendar Group. I was pretty sure, that this is possible. Done that many times in the past.
In Outlook Calendar > Add Calendar > From Address Book
Select a Distribution Group
Let’s check the Members
You get the Error Message: We can’t add the calendars of everyone in this distribution List (Distribution List Name). Please add each calendar individually.
Outlook > Account settings > More Settings > Advanced:
Disable: “Turn on shared calendar improvements”
After a restart of Outlook you try it again
Now it works.
Keep in Mind:
- You can’t show more than 30 Calendars in Outlook
