Jabra Direct Update (August 2026)

Today I have received a notification, that there is a new Jabra Direct release available.

In Jabra Direct under Updates you can see, that there is an update available

New Features:

• Added support for Jabra Evolve3 45.
• Added support for Jabra Evolve3 65.
• Added support for Jabra Evolve3 65 Flex.
• Added support for Jabra PanaCast 40 VBS in BYOD mode only.
• Added compatibility support for macOS 27, including improved camera permission handling.
• Improved Bluetooth device pairing reliability, including BLE connection handling.

Updated:

• Updated the Zoom plugin for Windows and macOS.

Fixed:

• Fixed a framing issue when using a limited field of view with Multi-Stream Dynamic Composition.
• Fixed an issue where firmware updates could fail when Jabra Speak2 75 had no battery remaining or a critically low battery level.
• Fixed an issue where adjustments made using the Jabra PanaCast 20 camera controller were not applied to the camera.
• Fixed an issue where release note links did not open correctly when a device was connected using native Bluetooth.
• Fixed an issue where devices were not detected in the app after Windows 11 resumed from sleep.
• Improved reporting of network connection errors to avoid misleading messages caused by network misconfiguration.
• Fixed an issue where the Auto Start Jabra Direct option was incorrectly displayed for managed Jabra Direct users.
• Fixed an issue where Jabra PanaCast U30 touch control settings were not displayed.
• Improved device attachment handling in failure scenarios.

Security Updates:

• This release includes security improvements, including strengthened process isolation and enhanced security for cross-process communication.
