AI generated Images contains C2PA Manifest
Hi All,
In a recent Blog Article i wrote about the new MAIL Models from Microsoft.
I’e created an AI Image for the 1st August - the swiss national day.
I’ve used that in a Instagram Post. I noticed the “AI info” button
It shows that the Image was AI generated. That info had to be somewhere in that file.
So i’ve had a look into the file with notepad++ and noticed “c2pa” and several lines that looked like Certificates.
Found a Website where you can Verify Content Credentials & Inspect C2PA Manifests. I’ve upldoaded my AI generated image. You can see all the details

Summary
I like that AI Image generators include information that the Image has been generated with AI.
I use Paint.Net and it does not support C2PA. When you open a File in Paint.Net and save it, the C2PA Information is removed. So it’s still quite easy to remove the C2PA information.
